On the evening of July 5, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held a telephone conversation with new UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and other issues of common concern. Both spoke highly of the excellent momentum in the growth of Sino-UK relations, pledging to make joint efforts to further develop Sino-UK friendly cooperation in various fields.
