On October 26, 2007, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council accepted the joint interview of ITAR-TASS and Interfax prior to his official visit to the Russian Federation. He comprehensively expounded opinions on China-Russia relations and raised suggestions on expanding the bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields and strengthening the role of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
